The Apple & Grape Harvest Festival 2020 is just around the corner!
Held every second year, and with origins going back 50 years, this is a great community event celebrating the harvesting of the local apples and grapes in the Granite Belt region.
” The 2020 festival will run from Friday 28 February to Sunday 8 March.
6 – 8 March is what is known as the ‘big weekend’, with the Grand Parade and grape crushing fun.

Gran Elly Orchard will be OPEN for TOURS of the ORCHARDFor both weekends, you will find Dennis and his crew of helpers at the packing shed ready to greet you. FIRST WEEKEND: Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th Feb (9am – 4PM) MAIN WEEKEND: Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th March (9am- 5PM)
As a second generation orchardist, Dennis Angelino is always happy to share his story and passion behind fruit growing. If you would like to find out more about where your spray-free fruit and juice is grown – why not come for a drive and see for yourself! You can pick an apple or two, buy a bag or box for the road and taste the 100% pure juice (It’s so good you will have to take a bottle with you too!)
Where is Gran Elly Orchard? You can find the orchard on Amiens Rd at Thulimbah about 10mins north of Stanthorpe. When travelling along the New England Highway, you turn at the ‘BIG APPLE‘ (Formerly Vincenzo’s), cross over the railway line (where Dennis remembers sending off orders as a lad) and through the dogleg intersection which continues on as Amiens Road.
